My name is Murray Cream. I moved to Medicine Hat from Nova Scotia in 1978. As soon as I arrived I became involved in the high pressure pumping services field for the oil and gas industry. Since then, I have traveled Western Canada, between Brandon, Manitoba and Fort Nelson, British Columbia.

During my travels, I became involved in the handling and transportation, blending and pumping of various fluids, from acid to methanol, and gelled diesel and crude oil, including condensate, CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) and N2 (Nitrogen Gas).

During this period, I attended many industry-related courses and seminars on topics such as Geology, Formation Structures and Reservoir Fluid Compatibilities. From 1996 through/until 2001, I took a holiday from the relatively quiet oil patch/field to purchase and operate an over-the-road long haul trucking company. This holiday lasted for a period of 5 years.

In 2001, I was drawn back to my work in The Patch. I returned to work in the field and began dispatching from the Medicine Hat field office. I enjoy the challenge that completing a well has to offer, particularly sour or deep wells.
